Cables suffer tight defeat
Positive start from Cables in the first minute see’s a through ball to Michael Monaghan but he was denied a goal from the Radcliffe Keeper.
A second chance for Cables after 6 minutes see’s a Reece Fishwick header deflected wide.
After 30 minutes Radcliffe made it 1-0 with Louis Myers getting in behind the defence and lobbing Marcus Burgess has he comes off of his line to try and deal with the ball.
A shot saved by Prescot’s Marcus Burgess on the 55th minute sees the ball make its way back out to the edge of the area but the follow up shot was sent over the bar by James Daniels.
James hooper for Radcliffe had a chance to make it 2-0 in the 84th minute but his shot goes over the bar and out of play for a goal kick.
Shortly after a great cross from Prescot’s Dominic Murphy see’s Josh Klein Davies turn on the spot and drill a shot on target but it was comfortably saved by Radcliffe’s keeper.
In the 95th minute a tackle from Josh Klein Davies see’s Radcliffe’s Callum Grogan on the floor who then lashes out with his feet at Josh Klein Davies which resulted in a straight red card for Grogan and Radcliffe down to 10 men.
Good win for Radcliffe. Cables look to bounce back in the Play Off Semi-Final on Tuesday at home to Trafford FC.
