The best way to keep up to date with Prescot Cables

Away day for Cables

8 months ago By Steve Garnett

Big game in Yorkshire

Prescot Cables make the journey to Tadcaster Albion today full of confidence after last Tuesday's win 5-1 win against Bootle in the Semi-Final of the LCFA Senior Cup. Once again the lads showed what they are capable of by deafeating a team who are flying in their league and who had scored 109 goals this season. After a run of home games where we didn't get the wins we deserved it would be good to get 3 points on the road against a Tadcaster team we have already beaten this season.

Our lads were sharp on Tuesday and created many chances as they have done in recent weeks only this time most of them went in, again in training on Thursday the lads looked up for it, so the fans have every right to be feeling confident ahead of today's game and we are expecting a good backing as the level of interest in this fixture is high and indications are that the team coach could be full again. With a month of home games coming up this could be one hell of a run.

Brian Richardson a fully fit squad to pick from after training on the 4G pitch at the Prescot Soccer Centre on Thursday night.

There is a coach to today's game and it leaves the Hope and Anchor at 11.30am and is great value at only £10 return for Adults and £5 for children. if you are making your own way the postcode is LS24 9AY and KO is 3pm.

Come on you Cables.
