Final league game of the season

7 months ago By Steve Garnett

Can Cables end the season with a win?

Today Cables face Radcliffe Borough in our last last league game of the season. We are all hoping that we can go there snatch 3 points and end the league season on a high so we can really celebrate a great season tonight at our end of season awards.

Currently sitting on 44 points a win today would move us on to 47 and that is more than last season which again shows the club is progressing and gives a real incentive to people to push on for next season. With our final end of season attendance average hitting 273, people in the borough are starting to really sit up and take notice of us and Tuesday's LCFA Senior Cup Final should be a great night and gives us a real chance to go one step further than last season and win it.

Today's opponents have not had a great April but should not be underestimated after pulling out a great 3-0 win against Colwyn Bay earlier in the month and also holding us to a 1-1 draw earlier in the season.

We hope as many of you as possible can get to Radcliffe to cheer the lads on and celebrate a great season tonight at our awards party.
