Prescot Cables 2-1 Bamber Bridge

The bulls go 4th!

Cables dominated the start of the match and it wasn’t long after the first whistle that Chris Almond opened up the scoring on 16 minutes with a brilliant cross from James Edgar.

Bamber Bridge came out in the second half with determination and on the 46th minute Adam Dodd equalised with a wide angled shot that Ben Barnes couldn’t get a hand to.

This didn’t stop Cables and on the 90th minute their persistence paid off with a deflected shot from Josh Klein-Davies which went over the keeper and into the back of the net to make it 2-1 to cables.

This win has secured Cables with a play off spot and for our next game we travel to Atherton Colls on Monday 23rd April but in the meantime we also need to secure a place in the Liverpool Senior Cup Semi-Final by securing a win against Litherland Remyca who we welcome to Volair Park on Thursday 19th April.
